For 40 years the Albert Lea community has come to depend on the quality and service offered by Thorne Retirement Community. On Friday, July 11, Thorne Crest broke ground on an ambitious 11 million dollar renovation project to create a Thorne Crest for the future! When complete Thorne Crest will be home to a brand new fitness/wellness center, pool, bistro, expanded and remodeled dining, new assisted living and memory care, all while maintaining the services residents have come to expect
In addition to these changes you will find thoughtfully appointed common spaces create a sense of ‘community’ and encourage the development of meaningful relationships with friends old and new. Shanna Eckberg, Administrator stated “We are very much looking forward to all the changes. Seniors today, and those of the near future expect more, we want to meet and exceed those expectations” The renovations are expected to be completed over the next 12 months.
