Sept. 24 Open House Event highlights new Assisted Living and Memory Care ApartmentsPosted on: September 14, 2015
On September 24th, 2015, Thorne Crest Senior Living Community hosted an Open House Event highlighting their newly remodeled assisted living and memory care apartments.
The family-friendly event took place onsite at the Thorne Crest community, providing attendees the opportunity to visit the recently completed areas of the community that have been transformed to serve those seniors looking for assisted living or memory care. Included in the renovations are 16 assisted living apartments and 9 memory care apartments, along with dining and new common areas.
This event highlights one of the final phases of an 11 million dollar renovation project that includes a Wellness center with a swimming pool, theatre, cardio strength room and a number of new lounges and community rooms. Residents will also enjoy a new Bistro and newly renovated dining rooms. The project has essentially remodeled the entire campus to better serve the seniors of today and tomorrow and is expected to be complete later this fall.
Attendees enjoyed snacks and refreshments along with tours of the new assisted living and memory care center apartments and a glimpse of the new construction still underway. Chris Schulz, Thorne Crest Administrator states, “We have seen a great deal of change at Thorne Crest and excited to invite the greater Albert Lea community in to experience the New Thorne Crest!”
Karen Anderson, Director of Marketing says, “We would like to thank the residents who throughout the project have been patient while we have added new features to the community. As expected they are excited about all the changes, and eager to have everything finished so they can enjoy all that the community has to offer.”
